Posts : Constable (Technical & Tradesmen)

Educational Qualification :
Education Qualification : Minimum matriculation / Xth class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board, or university recognized by the Central or State Govt.
Technical Qualification : Should possess “Transport Vehicle (Heavy)” driving license and pass the driving test at the time of recruitment.
CT/MMV (Mechanic Motor Vehicle)
Education Qualification : Minimum matriculate or 10 class pass in 10+2 examination system from a recognised board or equivalent.
Technical Qualification : Possessing 02 years Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle recognized by National or State Council for Vocational training or any other recognized institution and one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade OR National or State apprenticeship certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle Trade of three year duration from a recognized institution and one year practical experience in the field of concerned trade.
For all Tradesmen
Technical Qualification : Must be proficient and worked in respective trades.
Age Limit : The crucial date for determining the age will be 1st January 2017.
For CT/DVR : Between 21 to 27 years.
For all other posts (CT/Tech & Trades except CT/DVR) : Between 18 to 23 years.
Physical Standard :
Height : Male : 170 Cms, Female : 157 Cms
Chest : For Male Unexpended : 80 Cms, Expended : Minimum Exp. 5 Cms
Weight : For males and females: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards and Govt. instructions.
Examination Fees : Male candidates belonging to General(UR)/OBC category applying for recruitment to the above posts should deposit Rs 100/- (Rupees Hundred)Only as examination fee through following mode. Here it is also mentioned that if a SC/ST candidates applied from General Category due to non availability of vacancy of respective trade in their state or any other reason, they also exempted for payment of fees:-
Through SBI Challan (Challan other than SBI will not be accepted). Payment of fee through SBI Challan will be accepted upto 20-02-2017 only.
Net Banking through any bank
Credit card /Debit Card of any bank.

Selection Process : The recruitment process will consist of Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Documentation, Written Examination, Trade Test and Medical Examination.
Written Test : The written test will be of 100 marks consisting of two parts, i.e. Part-I – Knowledge expected from a Class – 10 pass candidates (for 40 Nos) and Part-II relating to knowledge of the Trade(for 60 Nos). The cut-off percentage of marks for qualifying in written exam will be as under:-
General : 35 %
SC/ST/OBC : 33 %
Syllabus for Written Test : Part-I and Part-II of Question Paper will consist of 100 objective type multiple choice questions carrying 01 mark each to assess the following:
Part – I (40 Marks) : General awareness/ knowledge, Knowledge of elementary mathematics , Analytical aptitude. , Ability to observe and distinguish patterns., Basic knowledge in English/Hindi. Marks : 40
Part – II (60 Marks) : Questions carrying 01 mark, separately for each trade to assess the knowledge of the candidate in respective trade. Candidate applying for a particular trade will be given question paper pertaining to that trade only.
(1) The questions will be set both in Hindi and English. Accordingly, the paper can be answered in any one of these languages.
(2) Questions in Part-I & II are to be answered using a blue/ black ball pen.
(3) The duration of the Written Test will be 02 hours.
(4) No representation for revaluation of answer sheet of written exam or re-conduct of written examination will be entertained.
(5) Candidates should bring clip boards and blue/black ball pens for written examination.
(6) Candidates are not permitted to use Mobile phone, calculators or any other electronic/electrical device. Candidates, therefore, must not bring these devices inside the examination premises. Possession of these items, whether in use or not, will be considered as “use of unfair means” in the Examination and appropriate action will be taken against such candidates.
