Posts: Joint CEO
A Post Graduate in English as Main Subject with at least 55% and excellent proficiency in spoken English from recognized University of Gujarat/India, OR
A Post Graduate Degree in Engineering/Management/Science/Commerce with at least 55% from recognized University of Gujarat/India, having certificate in Spoken English/Functional English from Government recognized institute
Candidates having Ph.D. in above streams will be preferable.
The person must have a minimum of 05 years’ experience in the field of Education/ Administration/ Project Implementation/ Literacy/ Language Proficiency/Training/ Promotion of English Language/English Communication together with excellent Oral and Written English Skills with Computer Knowledge. Experience should have been obtained after possessing the essential educational qualifications.
It is purely 11 month Contractual Post.
Not more than 45 Years
Selected Candidate will be paid Minimum fixed Rs. 50,000/- per Month. It will be negotiable for most experienced and skilled person on recommendation of the Selection Committee. No other allowances/charges will be paid.
Roles and Responsibilities of Joint CEO:
The Joint CEO has the responsibility of up keeping and following all activities, initiatives and programme of SCOPE. Majorly he/she has to focus into following tasks:
Development and monitoring of ZTPs, TPs
QAC & Assessment in collaboration with Cambridge University
Enhancement of enrollment of students through increase in centers
Promotional activities of Spoken English and Development of Scope with LSWR skills
Administration of the Office including personnel, establishment related as well as Accounts, Audit, Purchase, Tendering, MIS, Website
Track-Various meetings, events and collaboration
Budget, Accounting and funding
Capacity Building of Students, trainers, ZTPs, Colleges, and new initiatives related to SCOPE
Dell Lab Visit, development and maintenance and other traditional work of SCOPE
Any assigning job time to time from Senior Officers
Process of Selection:
A Written Examination will be conducted for the candidates applying for the post of Joint CEO, SCOPE. The syllabus of Written Test will be put up on the website.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview:
Candidates securing at list 50% marks in the written test will be eligible for appearing in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
The Interview will be conducted minimum for 1 round and maximum to 3 rounds.
In this Process of Group Discussion and Personal Interview, Analytical Skills, Working with group skills, Presentation Skills, administrative and accounting knowledge, Psycho Analytical Skills, Creative Thinking, Language Proficiency, Critical Thinking, Writing Gujarati/English, and Proficiency in Spoken English etc. will be evaluated.
Applicant has to come on their own expense at the place of the Written Test, Group Discussion and interview. No TA/DA or any allowance will be given to any Applicant.
Mere applying for the post or appearance of name in the merit list or called for Group Discussion or Interview Programme does not mean that candidate is selected.
If any Applicant will try to make influence or any political pressure, the candidature of that Applicant will be cancelled automatically.
The decision of the Interview Committee will be considered final in all matters.
Venue of Group Discussion and Personal Interview:
The venue of the Interview will be SCOPE Office, Ahmedabad.
Candidates will be taken into consideration who has secured minimum qualifying marks as laid down and prescribed by SCOPE.
Document verification will be done only for the Applicant who will get selected in interview. Disciplinary action will be taken against the Applicant who tries to produce forged/bogus/invalid documents or where original documents are found to have been tempered with, such application form will be cancelled and the decision of the Selection Committee will be taken as final and abiding.
Applicants who submit false / incorrect/ wrong information in the online application will be disqualified. If the information given by the Applicant is found to be false / incorrect / wrong or erroneous then he/she will be disqualified either at the time of recruitment or at any subsequent stage during Government service in future and no claim for service in this regard will be considered. The decision of Chairman of the Selection Committee will be taken as final and abiding.
After document verification, appointment will be given to the eligible candidate only. All applicants should note this.

The details filled in the application form by the Candidate will be taken as final. The candidate can’t make any changes in the filled form and if the candidate makes any mistake in the form intentionally or unintentionally, that application will not be taken into consideration and candidature of such person will be cancelled. If the candidate is unable to remain present on the specified date, time and place at any stage of recruitment process, candidature for selection of such candidate will be abolished. The decision of the selection committee will be final and abiding.
